Enhanced Screen Filters

Gathering Interest

Instead of the currently existing, and in my opinion somewhat mediocre filters currently included in Syrup Engine releases. Having customized filters for each platform that more accurately recreates the look of displays the consoles may have been played on at the time, as can be achieved with open source emulators and retro console scalers such as the RetroTink devices.
With modern consoles running in up to 4K resolution you can fairly convincingly recreate the look of a CRT or low res LCD display down to showing how the small gaps between pixels look on different display technologies. And with modern technology such as HDR you can also mitigate much of the brightness loss from using display masks like this.
Additionally with these features, allowing the user to customize how they want the games scaled, such as allowing Native Res rendering, Upscaled rendering (the current default from my knowledge), or Upscaled rendering downsampled to the Native Resolution, and then downsampled to Native Res (essentially SSAA) where the user can then choose to apply a display mask of their choice to the image to give an authentic, but better than real hardware image output.

Yes PLEASE.

For PSP releases it would also be very nice to have a PSP-like border. Some retro shaderds even allow for proper curvature of the screen and accuratr reflections on the TV parts adjacent to the screen. Maybe some light version of this could be used, too, with the shiny gloss of the PSP-border being "lit" by the game? While you're at it, also add an option for the ghosting and other issues the PSP had XD (jk..?)

I like the idea of a border, its a neat feature when emulators have them.
