For example, the emulator should allow us to remap the original Circle to both circle and R2. There are some QTE that requires you to press circle, and basically to navigate through the menu you need it too. But when you are playing, it's easier to have it remapped to R2 for a better gameplay.
If only we could assign two buttons to the same original button. In fact, if you select a preset to remap L and R to the joystick, it also keeps the original button. But the presets are very limited, so...
