PS Vita and PS3 BC
Gathering Interest
This should be added to ensure the 100% BC across all Sony legacy platforms. The UIs from previous consoles should also be available(PS3 XMB and PS4 in full, the previous ones in some capacity). Users should have the option to pick the version of said UI(original XMB vs revisions, PSP and PSX versions). Users should have the option to add appropriate startup/game launch screens. Custom video filters mimicking old CRT/LCD can be introduced.

Holy. Yes, please! I would absolutely love to have the original XMB menu. I love it so much. That was my biggest "never gonna happen" wish with the 30th Anniversary Themes return. You can actually do that on a Vita (unofficially) with community made apps, you can boot directly into the PSP XMB. I would love something similar for PS3 BC.
PS Vita BC needs to happen because there are still some games stuck on that platform that should be forwarded, and there doesn't seem to be an interest in remasters. Even if there were, the original should still be an emulation option for game preservation, and for the original trophy list.
As for how the Vita touch would work, well. I think games like God of War Collection that was on Vita and PS3 the touch pad controls were L2 and R2 and PS3 and touch screen could easily be the touch pad on PS4/5. Seems like it solves itself to me.

I wonder what could be done for touch screen controls on the Vita. The same could be said for DS emulation if this becomes a thing.
